Foreword   This is the only guitar that Tony has bought new.  It is a medium/high quality electro/acoustic guitar made by Yamaha, a Japanese company renowned for their innovation and consistently high quality.  Tony chose it for these reasons and because it has an outboard pre-amplifier, which, because it is not mounted within the guitar's body, does not affect the guitar's acoustic sound.

 Thus guitar is used for the occasional unplugged session and for Jurassic Rock acoustic gigs, when it is routed through the P.A.

 SPECIFICATION   Solid spruce top and laminated rosewood back/sides. Yamaha's own pickup system comprising an under-saddle piezo pickup, microphone and "Acousty" external pre-amp.  Yamaha's own hardware, which is gold plated.
