2015

2015 had its ups and downs, but ended on a high note with an absolutely stonking gig at The Plough Inn on New Year’s Eve.  Kate and Kevin put a lot of work into the preparation and the crowd really entered into the spirit of our Sounds of the Sixites show.  Audience participation was tremendous, even if one over enthusiastic young lady constantly requested “Great Ball Of Fire” in spite of being told by everyone that a 50s tune, great as it is, doesn’t work in a concert of songs from the 60s!

The only tinge of sadness to the evening was that this was Paul’s last gig with Jurassic Rock, as he is now taking an indefinite sabbatical from his music career to help his wife with their new baby, due in February.  Good luck, Paul.

January will be spent auditioning replacement bass players before we start a new gig season afresh.

Happy 2016 to everyone.
